As we look into year -  we look at a block of time. We see 12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days, 8,760 hours, 525,600 minutes, 31,536,000 seconds. And all is a gift from God. We have done nothing to deserve it, earn it, or purchased it. Like the air we breathe, time comes to us as a part of life.

The gift of time is not ours alone. It is given equally to each person. Rich and poor, educated and ignorant, strong and weak—every man, woman and child has the same twenty-four hours every day.

Another important thing about time is that you cannot stop it. There is no way to slow it down, turn it off, or adjust it. Time marches on.

And you cannot bring back time. Once it is gone, it is gone. Yesterday is lost forever. If yesterday is lost, tomorrow is uncertain. We may look ahead at a full year’s block of time, but we really have no guarantee that we will experience any of it.

Obviously, time is one of our most precious possessions. We can waste it. We can worry over it. We can spend it on ourselves. Or, as good stewards, we can invest it in the kingdom of God.

The new year is full of time. As the seconds tick away, will you be tossing time out the window, or will you make every minute count?

As you look back on the past year and all that has taken place in your life.

Remember each experience for the good that has come of it and for the knowledge you have gained.

Cлужебные слова.
Запомнить все из них сейчас
Получится едва.

В английской речи нам без них
Никак не обойтись.
Про них послушай лучше стих
И с ними подружись.

Вот ВНУТРИ стакана квас.
Скажем просто: "IN the glass".
НА пол ты его прольёшь,
"ON the floor",- произнесёшь. 

СВЕРХУ положу предмет,
"ON the sofa, ON the bed".   
А в кармашек положу,
"IN the pocket", -я скажу.   

Мячик залетел ПОД стол
Значит UNDER будет "ball". 
В ЦЕНТР комнаты вкатился,
"IN THE MIDDLE" очутился.

Present Simple Tense.

Вспомогательный глагол
В гости к Present Simple шёл.
Распевал он на ходу:
"Я зовусь, ребята, "DO".

Не всегда таким бываю,
Форму я свою меняю.
Если он, оно, она...
Форма "DOES" тогда нужна!

С остальными буду "DO"
И прошу иметь в виду,
Если "DOES" к вам в гости влез,
Основной глагол... без -s."

Ну а если "not" поставишь,
Отрицание добавишь.
А когда вопрос идёт,
"DO" и "DOES" спешат вперёд.

Past Simple Tense.

Мы вернулись дружно в класс.
И о прошлом наш рассказ 
Прозвучит сейчас для вас.

Чтоб помочь нам, в тот же миг
Перед нами вдруг возник
Вспомогательный глагол
И такую речь завёл:

"Вы знакомы все со мной,
Правда я теперь другой.
Знали вы меня как DO. 
Я оделся на ходу.

Правило мне так велит.
Я в PAST SIMPLE буду DID.
Если я в вопрос проник,
Основной глагол поник.

Будет мной он прикрываться,
Но нельзя ему меняться.
В первой форме он стоит.
Сам о прошлом он молчит.

За него я всем скажу,
Что с прошедшим я дружу.
В отрицание, в вопрос
Я везде просуну нос.

Моя форма- форма DID
Замечательно сидит.
Подлежащее любое
Поведу я за собою.

У друзей своих спроси.

Present progressive

Нам "Progressive" пригодится
В этот миг и в этот час.

Я, она, они как раз
Что-то сделают для вас.
Вы за этим проследите,
Ничего не упустите.

"I am playing".- Посмотри.
She is counting, - 2, 3.
They are sleeping. Не шумите,
Никого вы не будите.
Вот за подлежащим в ряд
Два глагольчика стоят.
Вспомогательный глагол
Основной глагол привёл.

Основной глагол спросил:
"Как мне преобразиться?"
Себе он хвостик прицепил
И им сейчас гордится.

Вы внимательно читали?
Этот хвостик увидали?
Увидали "i","n","g"?
Торопиться не спешим!

Если будем торопиться,
Можно сразу ошибиться,
Сбиться с верного пути
И Progressive не найти.
We have supper in the evening.   

In the morning we can sing.

Слова: morning, evening, sing      

Тоже с хвостиком таким.

Дайте правильный ответ
Есть Progressive или нет?
Мы слова перевели,
Но Progressive не нашли.

Должен быть другой глагол.
Кто его уже нашёл?
Его три формы: "am","is","are"    
Нужны в Progressive нам всегда.


Am I playing? Посмотри.            
Is she counting? 1, 2, 3.             

Are they sleeping? Что случилось? 
Что же здесь переменилось?

Вспомогательный глагол
Место первое нашёл.
И стоит задрав свой нос.
Значит ставит он вопрос.

В заключение скажу:
"Я с глаголами дружу.
Если с ними подружиться,
Будет вам легко учиться".

Отчего грустил a ball?

Дети шли играть в футбол,
Но грустил их мячик -"ball".
Не идёт во двор играть,
Гол не хочет забивать.

Удивились ребятишки
И девчонки , и мальчишки:
"Что с тобою мячик стало?
Настроение пропало?"

И рассказ свой мяч завёл:
"Все зовут меня "a ball".
А ведь я бываю разным:
Ярким, звонким, детским, красным.

Быть могу я озорным,
И весёлым, и смешным,
Но каким могу быть я
Не узнать сейчас, друзья!"

И спросили дети дружно:
"Что же, мячик, тебе нужно?"
Отвечает им "a ball":
"Если б кто ко мне привёл

Несколько друзей прекрасных,
Замечательных и разных
Я бы счастлив был вполне.
Помогите, дети, мне!"

Дети думали, гадали,
К вечеру они собрали
В гости к мячику скорей 
Замечательных друзей.

Это замечательные-
Наши прилагательные!
Как обрадовался мяч!
Он пустился сразу вскачь!

Стал наш мячик "bright and gay",
Как завёл себе друзей.
Стал он "yellow and green",   

"Good and new" скорей смотри.

Просто замечательные-
Эти прилагательные.
C существительными дружат,
Впереди стоят, им служат.

Существительные наши
Стали все намного краше.
Всем КАКОЙ или КАКАЯ
Рассказать они желают.

"Happy girl" и "merry boy",

Вышли поиграть с тобой.
"Pretty doll" и "little ball"

Положили мы на стол.

Мячик школьникам помог
Быстро выучить урок.

Местоимения this и that, these и those

Вам дам сейчас один совет.
Когда нужны нам "this"и "that"?
Если близок к вам предмет -
Никогда не ставьте "that"!

ЭТОТ "boy" и ЭТА "miss",
Значит смело ставьте "this"!
"Table" ТОТ или ТА "bed",
Нужно смело ставить "that"!

Картинка Даше чуть видна.
"That picture" скажет мне она.
Мы близко с Дашей подойдём.
"This picture" скажем мы вдвоём.

По сторонам ты оглянись,
Что очень БЛИЗКО, скажешь "this".
А если ДАЛЕКО предмет,
То ставь скорее слово "that"!

А вдруг предметов видим много?
Слова другие нам помогут.
Слова такие: "those", "these".
Запомнить их поторопись!

Девчонок много возле Даши,
"These girls" она вам точно скажет.
Увидев птичек из окна,
Вам скажет "those birds" она.

Запомнить это не ленись!
Предметов много РЯДОМ? "These".
Предметы ДАЛЕКО стоят?
Тогда уж "those" говорят.

Что такое слово SOME
Уяснить пора бы нам.
SOME - местоимение
Это без сомнения.

С существительными дружит,
Впереди стоит, им служит.
Что же слово означает,
Далеко не каждый знает.

Когда предметы можно счесть,
Запомнить нужно и учесть,
Пусть будет ясно вам и нам,
Что НЕСКОЛЬКО предметов - SOME.

А если их не сосчитать,
Что будет SOME обозначать?
И уяснить тут нужно строго,
SOME означает здесь - НЕМНОГО.

НЕМНОГО хлеба на обед.
Мы говорим: "We have some bread".
Слепить снежок хочу я снова.
Возьму в ладошки я "some snow".

Вон там "some dogs", а тут "some glasses",
Ещё "some girls" есть в вашем классе. 
SOME мы подставили и враз,
Предметов НЕСКОЛЬКО у нас.

На слово SOME ты погляди,
Но лучше не переводи!
А спросят: "Would you like some tea?" 
Ты SOME здесь не переводи!

Его ты здесь не замечай!
Ведь ты услышал: "Хочешь чай?"
"I'd like some fish" - хочу я рыбу.   
И не забудь сказать спасибо!

А вот пришёл ты на обед.
И попросил: "Give me some bread." 
Переведём "дай хлеба мне".
А SOME оставим в стороне.

Спросил тебя сегодня Вася:
"Есть ли девчонки в вашем классе?"
И ты ему ответил чётко:
"We have some girls. Да, есть девчонки".

Про слово SOME не забывай!
Старайся в речь его вставляй!
И ты заметишь,что на диво,
Речь стала яркой и красивой!
